What is not assumed

A listing is not current inventory until dated evidence links a seller and VIN. A European Tiguan brochure is not automatically the specification of a China-market Tiguan L. Displayed equipment does not establish destination legality, connected-service access or local parts support. Domestic warranty promotions do not automatically transfer with an independent export.

Evidence and payment boundaries

Candidate records preserve source, date and unresolved limits. Quotations state currency, validity, included China-side work and delivery point. Seller identity and beneficiary details should be independently confirmed before transfer; a changed beneficiary requires renewed verification.

When a vehicle is paused

A candidate is held when seller authority, legal identity, structure, flood evidence, diagnostic state, destination eligibility or a major drivetrain question remains materially unresolved. Negotiation does not convert missing evidence into confirmation, and a replacement VIN starts a new file.

Evidence handover

The final file connects identity, dated media, inspection findings, accepted exceptions, contract terms, export documents and loading condition. This gives the buyer, broker and destination workshop a common record after the sales conversation ends.

Destination responsibility

China-side sourcing can assemble identity, condition, commercial and export evidence, but it cannot decide another country's current tax, emissions, registration, steering-side or insurance rules. Buyers should obtain competent destination advice before payment and preserve that answer in the candidate file. When the authority or requirement changes, the affected cost and approval gate must be reviewed again.
